Job Search Toolkit for Aboriginal Youth
This toolkit, produced by Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) as part of its Youth Employment Strategy, is a resource for assisting youth in searching for and finding the right employment opportunities. Included is information on the basics of applying for a job, helpful tips for the first day of work and making a great impression, as well as exercises young people can do to gain insight into their individual personalities, skills and talents. It provides some practical information about employment opportunities in a variety of sectors including mining and is a good tool for young people wanting to enter the workforce. The toolkit can be accessed online at INAC's website.

NRCAN - GEM : Geo-mapping for Energy and Minerals   GEM - Map

The Government of Canada is investing $100 million over five years (2008-2013) in its new Geo-mapping for Energy and Minerals (GEM) program to provide the geoscience information necessary to guide investment decisions leading to the discovery and development of new energy and mineral resources.  GEM will focus mainly on mapping the Arctic and will use modern geological methods and standards to identify the potential for energy and mineral resources.
